We want to preface this with a disclaimer, this podcast is not for the faint of heart, nor will it resonate well with everyone. However, it is a positive female spin on a predominantly male narrative, sex. It will make you laugh, cringe, and feel like the woman you truly are: a goddess...or a daddy. 

Within the last few years, we as a western society have seen a shift in the female role, from the Me Too movement to closing the gender pay gap. Woman's positions of power are shifting. Call Her Daddy is a sex-positive podcast where female hosts narrate their experiences. It puts women in the driver's seat of sex and pleasure. This is not done delicately. 

We completely understand the turn-off this podcast could have, it is raw, and we would never let our mothers listen to it. However, it is also entertaining and relatable. They answer questions many women are intimidated to ask, giving tips on pleasing yourself and your partner. It puts the female needs first without neglecting the male.

The focus is not on external looks- though they do tell men what they should and should not wear to a bar if they hope to go home with someone. The focus is entirely on the aspect of pleasure. They are completely unapologetic about that. Encouraging open communication between partners. To freely discuss or discover likes and dislikes, and accept you and your partner's vulnerabilities.

Sex can be a taboo topic in public settings. Emphasized in the series is always knowing how to please yourself before expecting anyone else to do that for you. The same goes for love. You have to love yourself before you can expect anyone else to. Which begs the question, if it is simultaneously such a fragile and powerful part of our DNA, then why is it still wrong to discuss sex openly?
