Why are Women Mean to Each other?

We firmly believe women could run the world. If only we could come together without mistrust and judgment. Unfortunately, we place the same harsh criticism on those as we do ourselves. Even more unfortunate, for the most part, women are not kind to themselves.

Jada Pinkett Smith and her Facebook show Red Table Talk. Make a point of discussing what makes us uncomfortable. Those conversations we don’t want to have with people we would be afraid of offending.

This show has proven that to understand one another better, to better brainstorm ideas of change, we need to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. No judgment, no being sensitive to how a sentence is phrased, just open conversation.
